WHOLE
NINE YARDS
|
|
Whole Nine Yards "an Indie
Band" that was established in 1997, a couple years earlier than the
movie under the same name was even produced in 2000. They have been
compared to bands like Nine Inch Nails, Powerman 5000 and Orgy. With a
dance feel, driving guitar riffs and pop vocal lines layered with ambient
haunted sounds, Whole Nine Yards creates an original but yet recognizable
style of music.
Featured on radio stations,
newspapers, television programs and theatres in the states, he toured as a
drummer, bassist and keyboardist. Following the first album Blackened in
1997, another four albums were released, including Lips Flies and Devils
Eyes (1999), Smudge Pattern (1999), Underlying Pain (2000), The Nest
(2002), Concentration Man (2002) and composed the theme song for the Hong
Kong Indie film Exit/Strategy
(2004).
